A bad experience – when I took my water bottle out, one part snapped in half; in short, it’s very fragile.

My bottle cages broke quite quickly after normal use.
When I bought my gravel bike from Mantel, I had two of these bottle cages fitted to my bike on the sales assistant’s advice. After less than half a year, both bottle cages broke almost simultaneously (at the same point) whilst I was removing the bottle.

The bottle cage broke on my second cycle ride. I asked for a refund via the Mantel website, but received nothing but deafening silence. My conclusion: warranty and after-sales service only go so far…
